Bidborough CE Primary school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The governing body has a duty of care to pupils and all members of the school community. We have a comprehensive Child Protection Policy alongside other safeguarding policies which can be found in below. Copies are also available upon request from the school office.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead for Child Protection and Safeguarding is Mrs Julie Burton (Headteacher).
The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Laura Fowler (SENCO), Mrs Jane Bateup (Learning Mentor), Mrs Leah Markwell (Office Manager) and Mrs Sarah Lindley (EYFS Teacher).
